The 6th Red International Film Festival - Eilat, takes place on May 13th -17th, 2008, and is located in the city of Eilat, Israel.
The festival screens 67 films, from 20 nations and features competitions for "Best Foreign Film", "Best Israeli Film", "Best Children's Film", in addition to unique competitions such as "Best Short Film" and "Best Israeli Music Video". The Festival also hosts numerous workshops, with lead industry personalities from Israel, debating a variety of issues presently on the agenda in the film industry world-wide.
There is no city more beautiful, appealing and romantic in Israel for such a fabulous world class and electrifying event to take place in than Eilat - a world famous resort city located on an amazingly beautiful bay in the southern tip of Israel and on the northern shores of the Red Sea and situated on the tri-intersection borders of Jordan, Israel and Egypt.

The mission and vision of the festival is to be the leading cultural backbone of the city of Eilat, enhance the movie awareness of it in the city and in the whole southern and Negev region of Israel and to turn boost the cultural image of the city in Israel and across the globe. The festival provides a platform and respectable stage for veteran and beginner filmmakers alike of quality films from all over the world to showcase and promote their creations.
